Monte Bove - February 2011We plan to change the climbing venue for our Tierra del Fuego trip in 2011. Having successfully taken three groups to the summit of Monte Frances (2200m) over the years we have decided to switch to Monte Bove (2400m). The logistics and approach remain the same, with a similar level of technical difficulty. Bove has only seen three ascents, whereas Frances has now had eight since both peaks were first climbed in 1962. Why not come along and make the fourth ascent of Bove? Dates and prices to be announced shortly. Shivling - India, Autumn 2011Having not been on this peak for a few years, we now have the core of a group for autumn 2011. This means the trip will run and we are looking for further members. This is a great opportunity to climb one of the worlds most iconic peaks and follow the Hindu pilgrim trail to Gamukh (the source of the Ganges at the snout of the Gangotri Glacier) on the approach to the base camp at Tapovan. Dates 10/9/11 to 9/10/11. |
